I can’t say enough about the Aussie Jr football program which was closeby in Bluemont Park. It seems to be growing each year and I know that Braeden can’t wait for next June.
Read all about the program, here.

We have pix of Regan in her new Abby Dawn (Avril Lavigne) outfit (thanks Nana for extra money and coupon!); we went to Hana Tokyo for a Japanese hibachi meal (we had gone last year – it is so fun – Chef “Eddie” is a hoot!); cake; and the light up ultimate frisbee his friend Julie gave him.

Last Day of footyball - Braeden is in the red ball cap
Braeden had a great 5 weeks learning how to play this sport. We hope the Aussies offer this again!

Aunt Tracy took us up to Congress Park in Saratoga. It was a beautiful day and I had never been. We went out to lunch after fun in the Park.

The Falls have always been beautiful. They really have quite some history and produce quite a bit of power.

The kids and I made it to the tracks the next day. We didn’t lose any money – the kids and I all did a good job picking our horses!
It’s always nice to go to the tracks when we are in NY during the season.

I’d wanted to take the kids to Old Town Fredericksburg to see where some of the Civil War was fought. It’s a beautiful town. We went camping nearby for two nights. During the day, we spent some time in the town, taking a horse and carriage tour throughout the town. We drove to Chatham which is one site where the “Yankees” took over the Confederates (although when they crossed the river, that was it for them). Back at the campgrounds that evening, Regan caught 3 more fish, including a large mouth bass. And yes, I ended up unhooking all 3 fish that evening!
